What is the difference between BS4H masonry stain and a paint product?
Our stain penetrates the surface of the material it is applied to, while a paint product adheres to the outer surface. Our masonry stain sinks into the substrate and bonds permanently below the surface.
How long will the BS4H masonry stain last?
In Europe, where our tinting technology originated, there are structures that were tinted over 50 years ago that still look perfect.
How is BS4H stain applied?
In most cases we apply the stain by brush – one brick at a time. This avoids unwanted application of stain to the mortar joints, and preserves the ability to create effects on each brick. The stain can also be sprayed or rolled where large areas are being stained.

Orders are shipped by UPS or USPS. Once your online order is shipped, you will be e-mailed your tracking number.
How much area does a gallon of stain cover? One gallon will cover approximately 300 - 350 square feet of surface. Coverage will vary, depending on how much the stain is thinned with water, method of application, surface hardness and texture.
